If all the players are still in contention for the pot, a showdown occurs. Each player is shown the cards he or she has and the person who has the highest hand is the winner. If a tie exists, the ties are broken by the highest unmatched cards. If a tie does not exist, the winning hand is a draw.

If a draw is made, the player can then take another card from the deck. The player must put a bet in the pot to continue the round. If the player is able to match the previous bet, he or she can bet again. The player can also bluff, which is a tactic to convince other players to fold.
